Real life empowerment comes from the fruits, gifts and regenerating presence of the Holy Spirit. “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth,” Acts 1:8.
We will work together in unity.“I appeal to you, brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another in what you say and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly united in mind and thought,” 1 Corinthians 1:10.
Reaching the lost here and around the world is my responsibility. “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you,” Matthew 28:19-20.
We serve Christ by serving others. “Whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be slave of all. For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many,” Mark 10:43-45.
I will walk with Christ in open and accountable relationships. “…Because we loved you so much, we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God but our lives as well,” 1 Thessalonians 2:8.
Integrity is the only sure foundation for the Christ-centered life.“But just as he who called you is Holy, so be holy in all you do,” 1 Peter 1:15.
I will be a lifelong learner.“Whoever heeds discipline shows the way to life, but whoever ignores correction leads others astray,” Proverbs 10:17.
Every believer has been gifted to advance God’s Kingdom. “All Scripture is God breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work,” 2 Timothy 3:16-17.
A generous spirit is inviting and contagious.“Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you,” Luke 6:38.
